I’m Angelo Oda, a Fitness First Eastwood City member.

Last May, I was with my friends Yhel, David and Aaron. I asked Yhel if I should join Fitness First.

She initially discouraged me, saying it’s going to be a waste of money, and in any case, I have the discipline to go on a diet myself. I told her if I had the discipline, I could have been fit all my life, but I wasn't. So that same day we went to Fitness First. Membership Consultant Mark Aquino discussed everything in details. I signed up, and so did Yhel and the other two.

Mark showed me pictures of his friends and members alike - all dramatically transformed from obesity to a fit and toned body. One of them was featured in the "Real Stories". I told myself, if this is real, I should see myself here soon. I didn't believe it was possible, but I still tried.

As a call center agent, we always want to go home and sleep to get rid of our everyday stress, but working out removes my stress faster.

Everyday Mark motivates me and sometimes helps me with my programme. I go to Fitness First 5 to 6 times a week, Weight-Training every other day and a 15 to 30-minute cardio everyday. Having proper guidance from our Nutritionist Ley Reyes and Personal Trainer Ray Diaz - who has guided us even before the time I signed up for Personal Training - I lost 43 pounds in a span of 4 months and 7 inches of my waistline went down the drain.

A month ago I purchased BodyFirst and availed of the free PT sessions. Now I'm seeing even more positive results. I didn't see myself wearing small-sized clothes before, but now I do. Like what most people say, I feel better, I feel healthier.

Fitness First is indeed correct with this line: Motivation is what gets you started, Habit is what keeps you going.

This is real. This is possible. This is my story.
