I was diagnosed with Non Hodgkins Lymphoma before the end of 2019. I felt like my world shattered knowing my condition can end my life if I didn’t focus on my health and treatment. Coach Dave supported me throughout my journey. I am now cancer-free, and my ultimate goal in pursuing a fitter lifestyle is to prevent my cancer from recurring and start living my best life.
I hit rock bottom in 2017 while coping with tragic circumstances and my weight soared to 350lbs. My initial goal when I joined a gym was to be able to bend over and tie my shoelaces, which I’ve surpassed and reached even more fitness milestones as the years went by. My coach, Aileen, continuously challenges me train harder but smarter and educates me in creating sustainable fitness habits.
I was diagnosed with Bipolar II years ago and in order to live a regular life without the baggage of my mental health issue, I tend to over work myself. I gave in to unhealthy cravings and had irregular sleeping patterns which was wrecking havoc on my body. I decided to change my lifestyle and join a gym. Coach Dave motivated me to constantly workout and slowly worked to reach my desired weight and change my eating habits.
